I’m Pete Amara, the founder of Rustwood Coffee, an online coffee company driven by a mission to create a lasting, positive impact. After dedicating over three decades to serving in the military, I’ve spent my life deeply connected to both the defense of this nation and the beauty of the great outdoors. As a veteran, I wanted to build something that merged my love for service, the wilderness, and, of course, coffee.

With Rustwood Coffee, I’ve set out to deliver high-quality coffee while committing 5% of profits to support veteran communities and preserve the natural landscapes we all cherish. My vision is for Rustwood Coffee to grow into a force for good—fostering change in coffee culture, empowering veterans, protecting the environment, and ultimately leaving the world better than we found it.

Quality – It is extremely important that our coffee is not only of premium quality and amongst the best tasting in the world. More profoundly, we ensure that it comes from Fair Trade small-holder farms, who cultivate the beans in a sustainable way.

Social Responsibility – Our life experiences, both personally and professionally, have been tremendously influenced by serving in the military for most of our adult lives. Therefore, being a part of something larger than ourselves is very important. We care about our customers just as much as we care about our coffee.

Veterans, Outdoor Enthusiasts, and their families – Most notably, we care about those who choose to serve our Nation and traverse the great outdoors.
